bookRoom Collection / Shop
bookRoom has a growing collection of ʻbookworksʼ by recent BA and MFA graduates, cluster members and researchers, visiting artists and other contributors, some of them published by bookRoom press. With a focus on photobooks and the interplay between the page and other time based medium; photography, writing, moving images, music, performance art.
This collection is a valuable teaching and research resource for internal and external students, staff and researchers at all levels of the community.
The collection is housed in the UCA library at Farnham together with other special collections and archives such as The Tessa Boffin archive, Stefan Szczelkun’s Working Press imprint and related archive of activist zines and posters (among other items).
Some of the publications have been digitised and are available to view online on VADS digital archive.
University Archives & Special Collections are rare and unique, they include original letters and artwork, with strengths in arts activism, animation and photography, accessible via the online catalogue and by appointment.
