The international fair celebrating books by contemporary artists, poets, writers, composers, book designers, and their publishers; together with a programme of readings and talks. With more than 50 publishers taking part there will be thousands of books and other editions to browse and buy! Admission free.

To remind you of the criteria
- On the page or bookwork existing as multiples or small edition. Size between A6 and A4, and of reasonable price, no expensive one off as it will have little chance of selling. Do contact me if you have work that falls outside of this criteria, we can discuss ways of including it.
- Limited editon of single page or poster work that can be displayed in the bookRoom A3 portfolio . All single page or poster work should be already packaged, in tube or envelope or any way you wish. For some of you the packaging is part of the work itself. Do provide an extra copy for the portfolio.
- A maximum of 5 copies of each work should be sent to us in Farnham, UK before Thursday the 10th November.

The London Art Book Fair is an annual event devoted to international art publishing. The London Art Book Fair presents the work of individual artist publishers, galleries, magazines, colleges, arts publishing houses, rare book dealers and distributors alongside a wider associated programme of talks and events.

The London Art Book Fair 2011 will take place at the Whitechapel Gallery on the 23-25 September 2011.

Book Launch: Anthony Luvera: Residency
2.00-4.00pm, bookRoom, stand 57 (Free)
The bookRoom hosts the launch of the publication Residency by Anthony Luvera. This book encompasses photographs made over a 16 month period by the artist and people who have experienced homelessness living in Belfast. Residency consists of a series of large-format Assisted Self-Portraits, landscape images of Belfast and documentation of Luvera’s working practice through photographs and production polaroids, and features essays by Dr Anthony Downey (Sotheby’s Institute) and Dr Colin Graham (NUI, Maynooth). Published by Belfast Exposed Photography.

The Belfast Photo Festival is a biennial, which is Northern Ireland’s first major photographic event celebrating some of the finest national and international contemporary photography and visual culture.
Belfast Exposed (Photo-Book Lounge) Friday 05 August, 2:45pm
In this talk, Emmanuelle Waeckerle who is co-founder/director of Book Room, (University of Creative Arts London) will talk about their efforts to engage with cultural, artistic and creative production through debate and dissemination of on the page works. She will also be sharing her wealth of knowledge and insight into the various ways in which the book, the magazine and other on page works provide a vehicle for the spread of photographic, graphic and text based work.

Belfast Exposed (Photo-book Lounge) Saturday 06 August, 11:30am
This panel explores the impact of digital technology and online distribution on the practice and process of making photography books, whether they be commercial, independent or self-published. Also being discussed will be what the foreseeable future is for the photo-book.
Speakers include: Emmanuel Waeckerle (Book Room), Anna Pfab (Schilt Publishing) and Teresa Preira (Blurb).

The London Art Book Fair 2010
The bookRoom will be in attendance at The London Art Book Fair on the 24-26th September 2010. We will be showcasing the collection along with new additions from recent 2010 graduates.
We are situated on the ground floor and we will be showing new work from Mark Bellingham, Thom Bridge, Jane Cradock-Watson, Bekah Evans, Karen Knorr, Laura Jones, David Rule, Rosie Sherwood, Emmanuelle Waeckerle.
