Shiho Kito’s book contains a variety her photographic work from 2002-2006. Beginning with more abstract words and text, the artist raises philosophical questions about the nature of colour, light and life. Later in the book, the photographs are more representational, displaying areas including a river, pond, shrine, playground, airport, but maintains the atmosphere of earlier imagery. Sections of the book are seperated by titles, in Japanese and English, including Super nova, water water, proof of life and fireflies.
